so…i bought this crappy camera

it’s polka dotted…incase you didn’t see me out with it last night…
we cut off alex’s rat tail last night.
this camera is okay. i’m glad i have a camera thats not broken, one that doesn’t make me pause for aproximately 5 seconds before it will take the picture. i like that it’s not a nikon, the last four have been nikons. i like that you plug the entire camera in to the wall in order to charge it. …that eliminates a lot of wear and tear on the battery “gate” which, on my nikons, has broken every single time. however the sports mode is weak! terribly weak.
it’s amazing how terrible the photo quality is…but for some reason i love this camea.
i’m still buying a different one…i just have to order it online

“i am thankful for…my friends”
i love bekah because our friendship is 18 years old.
i love sarah because we’ve been mostly consistent friends since 7th grade, so 16 years. i love eric because we’ve been around each other for 16 years as well and him and sarah have not gotten irritated nor tired with my 7th/8th grade reunion jokes and seem to be okay with my threats of posting our 8th grade video online (sans my interview of course).
jacob comes next. 9th grade drama class wouldn’t have been the same without his blue died hands and bleach burn marks on his neck and behind his ears..and i mean, the rain was bound to feel good again some day.
i love jon because he was fing charles manson for halloween and that says it all. & we’ve known each other since 1997
i love andrew fansler because he was my first “i love you” and my first “fucking heart break” and my first prom date. even if i was sun burnt and had possibly the worst greasy prom A symetrical hair ever…we’ve known each other 13 years plus.
next would have to be lauren and kate, i love them because we’ve been (again) mostly consistent friends since 1998. so there’s a small gap in time where i just didn’t make amazing friends (i guess)
after and during lauren and kate come shawn and ian. shawn = cursive (the band) and ian= tin foiled monsters that i still possess.
these guys are good to get drunk and watch. (you need to see them break dance and rap together). i feel like that brings us up to college and thats where things get complicated…and so i’ll just stop there. but i love you all and you make my life bearable even when we aren’t consistently being friends, because those make for good stories.

thanksgiving and pants

who doesn’t want a pair of black pants with a gold zipper running up the back side?! i certainly do…or i did till i tried them on yesterday and realized these wonderfully spandex pants held tightly to every curve of cellulite that i own. i say “own” because its my own damn fault. there’s only so many orders of fried zucchini sticks you can order before they start to make an appearance as fatty tissue.

on to the next…thanksgiving bugs the hell outa me. we rarely have it at my parents house, and maybe it’s because our relatives think they’re helping relieve some stress off of my mom…she won’t have to cook they think, she won’t have to clean. but it’s not true. thanksgiving sends her or anyone, i imagine, in to a tizzy…when all any of us can think about are the LEFTOVERS. that’s what thanksgiving is about… the left over sweet potatoes being spooned in to the pancake batter, the midnight 5th dinner of turkey, rice, gravy, mashed potatoes, corn and stuffing.
so how can you go out of town or over to a friends house for thanksgiving with out, first, planning and cooking all of the exact same items? this way, you get home from your friends house or back in town and its all sitting there in the fridge ready for you to dig in.
i think i’m making my own leftover thanksgiving tonight…i just need to buy extra tupperware.

i think i only took my camera out four times this month.

we had turkeytober again…three years after the first one and only two of the original members…um..also i should add that most of the people there had no idea that mike and i were calling it turkeytober

but again just like the last one…there wasn’t a turkey

yeah…at some point we found Shanthony’s tight collection, tried them on, posed for pictures, played with the cat and then started booty dancing to “all the single ladies”
there is a video. i’m holding it till one of these fine women becomes a politician.

then i had a pumpkin carving party earlier this week
cyclops, cat, mouse, geometric shape face, bull ring face, mr. and mrs. pumpkin head

soooo the blog dies.

one of the main reasons i kept this blog going for 2.5 more years than i probably should have, or even wanted to…i was pretty sure that if i kept this up my boyfriend would see all the interesting things i was doing, the people i was surrounding myself with, and want to be a part of it. maybe i felt like by seeing pictures of what i did he would feel more involved in my life, he’d know what was going on. so i don’t know. i don’t feel like updating this anymore, or keeping lists of upcoming events, because i have them, for myself, on a calendar already. and so the blog dies. for now.
