love craft

okay, it was only a sweat bee but you should see the welt. and it itches like crazy!
also, The Wherehouse is doing what it does best, SUMMER….more specifically= July.
There is so much going on. So many art openings that i can’t wait to see.
Including local cuteness Ian Lockey/Mitchell Edward Britt Jr. (yes i have linked to his blog, even though mine some how didn’t make the grade on his.
there’s lovely leaves (unless he’s busy sleeping on a pile of napkins @ mellow mushroom) and love craft on the 19th.
7/24 - GHOSTBUSTERS 1 on the Brick patio! (not the SWEEDED version, i promise!)
7/27- beautiful Casey Lee has an art opening at EM gallery

girls who are too cute for their own good.

i’ll be in the mountains but i’m sure it’ll be a great show
@ the werehouse
alright, at this point i have 46 vintage purses on etsy

i’m about to add two more, one involves strawberries and the other is blue knit with wooden handles and three blue wooden beads.
yeah..thats right.
if…perhaps you were a news channel and you decided to set up outside a coffee shop…and just by chance there was only one person in the shot…could you possibly alert them of your presence so they can either MOVE or correct their posture…to prevent text messages from friends: “i just saw you on the news…your posture was horrible”
…i’m not asking you to yell at an entire group…just one small girl with really bad 9.30 am posture.
anywho. my fourth of july was slow but enjoyable. Greg’s mom made a fantastic dinner and i brought my homemade banana/blueberry bread…which i thought might be for desert however, sometimes it’s best eaten warm and there for devoured before dinner.
today i’m going to tackle carrot and summer squash soup. i plan on using vegan yogurt at the very end to make it a little creamy. I’ve got fresh basil and squash from gregs garden.
but first i need to stuff my face at mary’s of course with erin.
and i bought this little guy:

from: crinoline
we went to the moutains. i realized i’m in the worst shape of my life.
but i had a really great time. i told sarah when i die there better be a pot luck dinner in my honor.
driving in the rain is no fun
getting yelled at by a lady parked illegally in a parking lot is even less fun.
she must watch fox news and assume she does nothing wrong and the younger generation is full of anger…that we’re all maladjusted.
any who.
rainbows are nice. old ladies who PARK at STOP signs are not nice.

the good news: In two weeks time the blue berry bushes, at the cabin, will be ready for eating. And, I just happen to be going back up there in two weeks.
i wanted to relive last thursday…yesterday but…as luck would have it i had to open the store this morning. no late nights…no one to many whiskey drinks and no fun conversations
so here are the pictures of chip being chip from last thursday.
chip really wanted a picture of himself looking good in his own hat:

as luck would have it…girls just look more cute in his hat than he does

he tried multiple poses

and then out of frustration picked a faux fight with faux girlfriend #4

and for good measure…this is the only other picture i’ve taken since last thursday:

it’s of my new kitchen towels.
