what?…the passage of time…
recently, the past month has flown by, i’ve been to trivia at finnigans twice, some other places, the mountains a few too many times.
we recently had 30 people at our cabin. it looked like this:
at every turn
moving in packs.
my mother escaped at one point…by locking her self in the car.
(no joke)
i saw this band play @ the werehouse
they dressed funny but sounded like cat power
i said my good byes to Millie the cat
and attempted to count the pairs of gold finches @ reynolda gardens
i’ve been sun burnt bc i watched 10 second cousins or cousins once removed swim for hours.
i went to a lot of plant shops in the mountains attempting to acquire peace and quiet during the family reunion
i bought peach jam and peach butter…both tasting and having the same consistency.
i made tumeric potato and squash soup (twice) with supplies from gregs garden. the second time it was peppery.
it’s almost august…really?

also, The Wherehouse is doing what it does best, SUMMER….more specifically= July.
There is so much going on. So many art openings that i can’t wait to see.
Including local cuteness Ian Lockey/Mitchell Edward Britt Jr. (yes i have linked to his blog, even though mine some how didn’t make the grade on his.
there’s lovely leaves (unless he’s busy sleeping on a pile of napkins @ mellow mushroom) and love craft on the 19th.

but i watched Prince Caspian and realized part of it had been filmed at a beach in New Zealand that Megan and i went to on our first day on the North Island.
